I’ve added a new mascara to my make-up arsenal that I’ve been dying to tell you about: Blinc Mascara, and the fine art of lash tubing. Okay, it’s not a fine art, anyone can do it… which is what makes it so cool. Unlike typical mascaras that paint your lashes, Blinc’s formula is designed to tube them all the way around from root to tip, leaving lashes that look natural, feathery, and are water/sweatproof and very long-lasting. I wouldn’t say this mascara creates a really dramatic look, the tubing really compliments your natural lashes more than just painting, clumping and reshaping them into something bigger. The tubing really does work. Because the formula has “tubed”, or encased your lashes, it has staying power, so it takes a combination of both warm water and gentle pressure to remove it.

This is both a good and a bad thing because sometimes it adds a second step to my makeup routine because I can’t address the mascara and waterproof liner in one step, but it is good because it prevents middle of the day smears and flakes. I really do love this product, but for me this product will stay as an easy every-day product, or great for a pre-workout or pre-beach quick solution. I like a little more flash in the evening, so until Blinc comes out with a thickening formula, I’m a daytime tuber.

This product is a really great product, but would not fit into everyone’s routine, especially if you’re into major lash overhaul from your mascara. However, if it sounds like the type of product you need, definitely check it out, because it really does work!

XO,

K
