If you’re like me, you tend to buy that one perfect dress for a wedding, holiday, or cocktail party, only to have it sit in your closet for the next year, untouched.  This Easter was no exception for me as I now have a perfectly adorable sun dress dying for more attention than just a single outing to church.  Check out some ideas below for taking perfectly proper dresses and revamping their look for evening, a night on the town, whatever your under-used garment desires.

Also, how perfect would these bangles go with the outfit above? The etching on each bangle reads, “Are you a good witch or a bad witch?” Love it!

If you want to add even more versatility to your look, I always think gray is a perfect color to bring a sunny day dress down to workplace appropriate, without looking too depressing. Check out this adorable Alice + Olivia color blocking dress that would look perfect in a church pew or a cubicle.

How do you guys recycle dresses? What defines an outfit? Is it the shoes, the accessories, or something else?
