Today, we wanted our readers to get to know her a little better, and so we asked Ashley to give us the low down on her life before she became our slave, er, intern. Just kidding! Meet Intern Ashley!
Hi everyone my name is Ashley, I will be interning with Haute In Texas. I am currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising/Retail Marketing at Johnson and Wales University. I was born and raised in San Antonio, TX but recently moved to Denver, CO which was a great experience and I’m happy I took the opportunity to move. I have learned a lot in getting to know my strengths and I have also seen the differences between the fashion in two very unique cities. Denver fashion is great but you have to be careful in what you choose to wear since the weather changes frequently and you must be ready for that. Here in San Antonio…well, you can basically predict the weather to be a great 100 degrees! So, going back and forth between the cities is actually great for keeping me into the fashion scene.

I stand 5’1 with a feisty attitude, I have an obsession with nail polish which means I have a new color every week. My favorite designer is Betsey Johnson, I can’t say I have specific style, I like to try all kinds of trends out. So I guess you can say I have an open mind. I am definitely the wild child of my family which means I’m also a very spur of the moment person. This is just a little intro about myself so I plan on you all getting to know me better with the blog posts as well. Everything I’m getting from this is all a learning experience for me, so feel free to give me your opinions and feedback. I would greatly appreciate it!
