Yes, I am most def a fashion girl, but I am also a total gadget girl, too! My iPhone and I are BFFs, and lately I have a whole host of new favorite apps to share with you!

Let’s talk about the P Tracker app I just downloaded. Where has this been all my life? You start by clicking on the BIG RED BUTTON when your monthly period begins. It gives you the option before it starts and all through the month to track your symptoms and the severity of them, as well as your moods, weights, times you’ve been intimate and other questions to ultimately help you figure out everything you need to know to help keep you aware of what’s going on in your body. This is a great tool for those who are both trying to get pregnant and who are avoiding it, as well. I personally just like being able  to look at my charts and anticipate my symptoms so I can warn people to STAY THE HELL AWAY. Not really. Well, sort of. Anyway, it’s absolutely worth the tiny price tag of $1.99.

Since I’ve been engaging in exercise recently, I’ve been keeping track of my heart rate pretty regularly, but it can be a bit of a hassle to stop mid workout and go to my iPhone’s stop watch, measure out ten seconds, rush quickly into my calculator app because I can’t do head math (shame on me, I know), multiply all all numbers by six…. you get the picture. I had no idea that our iPhone’s had the capability to take our heart rate. Apparently, much like the light on a pulse ox monitor you get on your finger (ET phone home finger reference time), the flash on the camera is powerful enough to accurately measure (within a few points) my heart rate both during and after exercise. Check out Heart Rate to help you keep tabs of your calorie burn and resting rate to keep you in tip-top shape.

Who doesn’t love great wallpapers for your phone. I think it’s a total woman’s thing that we need ot customize EVERYTHING or we can’t sleep at night. Just me? No? Yes? Well, either way, the Cuptakes app has beautiful backgrounds for your phone that are both feminine and grown-up. There is a bunch of variety, and even seasonal and holiday-themed backgrounds. If you go to their website Cuptakes.com, you can even buy matching cases! SO CHIC I CAN’T BREATHE.

What are your favorites? What are some good Apps for the Android?

XO,
