While things can get totally crazy during the holidays, I always enjoy sneaking in a date night or two where Orlando and I can. The lights, the spirit in the air, it just makes it a more romantic time in my opinion! I think I’ve mentioned this before, but we really never get tired of the old dinner and a movie routine. Watching a great flick is one of Orlando’s favorite things to do, and the holidays are a GREAT time to go see some of the best films of the year.
This year I’m particularly excited to see La La Land with Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. If you’re not into musicals, do yourself a favor and sit this one out. BUT if you are even remotely interested in a cinematic experience that involves a little music and a little dancing, I suggest you grab your significant other and some popcorn!

I mean, come on, right? A little bit of humor, a little bit of romance, and some dance numbers thrown in there for good measure. I know it can seem like there’s no time to steal away during the holidays, but I can guarantee Orlando and I are going to find an evening to see this.
