Have you seen a flurry of yellow bags all over your city lately? Is there simply no end to the #NSALE posts on your Instagram feed? I get it, I’m right there with you! The Nordstrom sale is one of the most epic all year. Women meet to strategize beforehand, wake up in the wee hours of the morning to shop, and just freak out in general. Perhaps the reason it gets so much attention is it’s the upcoming season’s items on discount BEFORE the season starts.
But can I confess something to you? The clothing side of the Nordstrom sale feels a little repetitive to me every year. It’s the same booties, cardigans, and distressed jeans most years, with the occasional camel coat thrown in there for good measure. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve scored my fair share of items, but I’ve been feeling ready to move on for the past few years. There is ONE area of the sale though that I’m PUMPED about: home! As my girls get older I’ve started valuing investing in quality home decor, appliances, and accessories that will truly stand the test of time. 1. Marble and mixed materials
I’m dying over these cutting boards, y’all. On sale for just $38.90. They could multitask as a charcuterie board, display piece, or dessert platter. So cute!
2. Essential Oil Diffuser
I know I included a diffuser in my Amazon Prime Day sale on Instastories as well, but this one is just too chic not to include! And it’s only $25.90 for a functional piece of art, essentially. Pun intended. Just drop in your favorite oils and voila! Magic.
3. A pink area rug
I’ve been trying to talk Orlando into getting a pink rug for forever now, so perhaps if it’s a pink rug on SALE he’ll be up for it! This coral pink shade and artisanal pattern just slay me. I would put this in my office or as a runner in our front hallway all day erry day. And it’s almost $100 off!
4. Luxury Bedding
If you knew how old our comforter on our bed is you would probably gag a little. It’s just that when you still have littles occasionally climbing in bed with you and bringing their stomach bug along, it can feel scary to drop a hefty number on a duvet.
