Most people go to networking events to meet new people, make contacts in different industries, and generally schmooze with folks you most likely wouldn’t hang out with otherwise.  I, on the other hand, go to networking events and notice all the chic office wear I want to add to my own closet.  My puppy recently claimed a pair of my favorite office heels, so this past mixer I was busy checking out all the professionally appropriate footwear.  The bad news?  99% of work shoes are B-O-R-I-N-G.  The good news?  These babies are not:

For $265, I could walk into my office tomorrow and demand to be made CEO, these shoes would make me feel so good.  The girl I spied wearing them seemed to feel that good, anyways.  If the camel color is still a little too boring for you, try this variation on for size:

If you can sacrifice the peep toe, and you’re willing to wear fur, I think these shoes are totally work appropriate.  It’s Tory Burch for goodness’ sake, no one is going to think you’re a rebel.  They’re a little more expensive at $295, so I only suggest picking them up if you know you have the wardrobe to accommodate them.

In other news, get excited for a giveaway next week!  I’m going to leave the store a mystery, but I’ll give you a hint:  they’ve been featured on our blog before!  It’s a sweet prize, so mark your calendars to check back next week for your chance to win!

XO,
