Orthodontics in general are intimidating for some, but perhaps even more so people want to know what to expect at the appointments. Will they take a ton of time? Will they be painful? Today on the Haute in Texas YouTube, I’m taking you through my most recent Ferris Orthodontics appointment, from the moment I walk in the door to the moment I’m back in my car. It’s all condensed into a quick 6-minute video, but even the actual appointment only take about 30 minutes or so.
The staff at Ferris Orthodontics is always friendly and welcoming as soon as I walk through the door, and though the appointment goes by fast, they still take the time to answer all my questions and walk me through the process in general. I’ve been so insanely curious about the entire process, but they don’t make me feel stupid or like I’m wasting their time. I so appreciate that because I’ve asked some pretty silly questions!
In the case of a child getting braces, the process is 99% the same, minus the parents being able to either stay in the lobby area or go back with their kids to the treatment center if they wish. I’ve seen both, and it really just depends on your child and what you prefer. You know your kid best!
